LEARN REIKI LEVEL I

Reiki is a traditional Japanese healing art. It is a gentle and powerful system that anyone can learn to use.

Learn the basics of Reiki energy healing and cleansing in this
four week Reiki level one course. Improve your health and learn to practice on others.

This course begins Oct 11, 2006 and continues for 4 consecutive Wednesdays from 7-9:00pm
at the Head to Toe clinic in Kensington Market.

MAKE-YER-OWN FILM FESTIVAL

To all aspiring dream makers here’s your chance to share your visions and place your ideas on the big screen– enter the first ever
Gallian Make-Yer-Own Film Festival.

This event is accessible to everyone – all you need is a digital camcorder or camera with a video function and a little inspiration. (And if you lack a recording device talk to us and we may be able to find one you can borrow we might even be able to lend you some inspiration).
The purpose of this event is to raise funds to help our resident Homeopathic Doctor get to Mumbai (Bombay) India to work and learn at the Shree Mumbadhevi Homeopathic Hospital. However we also intend to have a fun and interactive event with a gala / party and great music and prizes.

The screening and gala will be held October 21st at the 99Galley Theatre (aka The Garage) Submissions are due a week earlier on October 14th.
The Gala will include artists such as
Rosina Kazi from Lal (www.lalforest.com)
and
Vandal the Urban Camper (www.urbancamping.com)

The Stipulations:
The theme for this year’s festival is HEAL. This is a general theme that can be interpreted in a myriad of ways but gives direction to the festival.
Your film must encompass this idea in some way or other.
Films need to be submitted in a digital format on a CD or DVD a week before the screening.There will be no more than 25 entries allowed, so sign up soon and reserve your place.
The $20 (cash or cheque) entry fee includes entry to the screening and gala.
